Alle Miller

Client Service Representative

Hi, I'm Alle, and I’m a Client Service Representative at Best Friends Animal Hospital. I earned my RN education from Virginia College from 2011 to 2016, and I bring the compassionate care and communication skills from that background into my role as a CSR.

My journey in veterinary medicine actually began back in 2012 while I was in nursing school — I worked nights as a kennel assistant and fell in love with the field (and the animals). Although I went on to pursue human nursing for several years, everything shifted after I had my son in 2018. I realized my heart truly belonged with animals, and in 2022, I officially returned to veterinary medicine. Before joining the Best Friends Animal Hospital team in October 2025, I spent two years working at Hueytown Veterinary Clinic in Birmingham, Alabama.

Why I Chose This Profession

I chose veterinary medicine over human medicine because I’ve always had a soft spot for my four-legged friends. Helping animals feel safe, healthy, and cared for brings me a kind of joy and fulfillment I have never found anywhere else.

My Favorite Part of My Job

My favorite thing about working in a vet clinic is getting to see animals all day long, and knowing that what I do helps them live healthier, happier lives. Whether I’m supporting clients, assisting the team, or comforting a nervous pet, being part of that process is incredibly rewarding for me.

Personal Hobbies and Interests

Outside of work, I love spending time with my family and our dog. We enjoy swimming, being outdoors, and traveling whenever we get the chance.

I'm a proud dog-mom to Miles, my two-year-old German Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix. He actually failed out of police school because he refuses to bite on command, which makes him perfect for me. I adopted him from a shelter, and now he’s the sweetest, happiest boy — he loves all animals, most people, and absolutely hates nail trims. He also doesn’t really know he’s a dog, but we love that about him!
